Whitegate Farm British Beef
We are producers of some of the best British farmed beef around.
Our beef cattle are farm reared and grazed at home, Whitegate Farm, locally and
at Shugborough Park in Stafford.
The Breeds that we offer in the shop are Aberdeen Angus and Hereford, both
of which are traditional British Breeds.
Our cattle are grass fed up to
between 24 and 29 months which produces a fine flavoursome meat.
At this stage they are taken to a local family run abattoir for slaughter
and then returned to ourselves where the meat is matured for between 21 days
and 1 month allowing excellent flavour. The meat is prepared and trimmed to a
low fat meat for sale by Mark, Derek, Chris and Paul into traditional cuts
such as Topside, Sirloin, Rib on the Bone, Rolled Rib, T-bone steaks,
Stewing and Mince.
We are a traditional family butchery who like to offer exactly what the
customer wants, therefore our beef is not pre packed into certain sizes or
quantities you can view the meat and we will cut it to the size you require
right in front of you.
Our Hereford and Aberdeen Angus beef cattle produce a fine, low fat meat with an excellent flavour.
