Whitegate Farm Pork
We are producers of some of the best farm pork around.
On the farm here at Whitegate we only rear rare breed pigs including Gloucester Old Spot, Saddleback and Berkshire pigs.
Before we opened the farm shop we used to be a large producer of commercial pigs but now we concentrate on just the rare breeds to rear ourselves.
 We have found that these breeds are extremely popular with our customers as
they are full of flavour, however they are renowned for producing a little
more fat than the commercial breeds, this makes for some excellent crackling
on your sunday roast, but is not suited to everyone.
We therefore also offer the leaner commercial pork sourced from a local
farmer giving our customer the choice.
