Free Range Eggs and Poultry
Poultry:
Here on the farm we rear chickens from 1 day old that have been locally
hatched, these are available on a daily basis. The size of the chickens have
surprised some customers and can range up to 10lb in weight towards
Christmas. One of our regular customers has branded them as 'sumo'
chickens.
We also rear free range Aylesbury ducks from 1 day old ducklings, these are
available Fresh every 8 weeks and frozen at all other times. These can been
seen wandering around in the front paddock.
 At Christmas we offer farm reared geese, these again from early August can
be seen by visitors in the front paddock and has become one of our landmarks
when giving directions to the shop to people.
At Christmas we also offer farm fresh home reared turkeys ranging from 9lb up to
25lb in weight, we offer two varieties the traditional turkey and bronze
turkeys which are becoming ever more popular.
Occasionally we may be able to offer frozen turkeys and geese during the
year.
Eggs:
All of our hens eggs are free range and packaged on the farm. They have a full flavour and our customers tell us they taste great!
We also sell duck eggs from our flock of Khaki Campbells and goose eggs when available.
All our poultry and meat is sold under the Farm Assured Standards scheme.
