Our Free Range Geese are a Landmark of the farm shop from June onwards as they can be seen in the fields.
They are free to roam around and are fed on grass and non GM feeds which includes home grown corn. They are finished in open barns from mid October due to wet ground conditions.
Goose is a rich dark meat quite unlike turkey, cooked properly is tender and juicy and delicious and goose fat makes the best roast potatoes you'll ever eat.

As a guideline we suggest the following:
Small goose 4 - 4.5kg for 4-6 people
Medium goose 4.9 - 5.5kg for 5-8 people
Large Goose 5.9kg+ for 8+ people
