Here at Whitegate Farm we rear rare breed pigs including Gloucester Old Spot, Berkshire and Saddleback pigs. The pigs are not intensely reared and are in open top straw sheds.
These rare breed pigs tend to be a little fatter than commercial breeds but it is this fat that gives the pork its flavour and some excellent crackling!
