Whitegate Home Produced Sausages, Home Cured Bacon, Gammon & Ham
All of the sausage that we sell is made here in the shop by Derek's son
Mark.

We currently offer 8 varieties which are:
PORK SAUSAGES
Best Pork sausage
Farmhouse Sausage
Cumberland Sausage
Pork and Leek sausage
Tomato Sausage
Black pudding Flavour Breakfast Sausage
CHICKEN SAUSAGES
Chicken, cranberry, stilton and sage sausage
Chicken, Leek and smoked bacon sausage
The Chicken sausages are extremely low fat sausages and very tasty.
We also offer a range of Gluten free sausage, however these are made to
order in 5kg batches, these can be frozen and need to be requested by Tuesday
at the latest as they would be made on a Wednesday morning.

BURGERS
Mark also makes our specialty 1/4lb Beef burgers and 1/4lb minted Lamb
burgers which never lose their size.
We can once again offer Gluten free burgers on request.
BACON & GAMMON
All of the bacon we sell in the shop is produced here in the shop. We use a
dry cured process to prepare the bacon as this produces a better flavour and
you don't get those white bits in the pan when you cook it.
We offer the leaner commercial pork bacon and for those who whish to indulge
in a little added flavour we home cure Gloucester Old Spot and Berkshire
Bacon too.
Once our bacon has finished its curing process we send some to a local
smokery, here it goes through a traditional oak smoking process and then is
returned to us for sale.
we also cure our own gammons and offer them either in joints for roasting or
gammon steaks. We also offer a range of cooked ham purchased by the slice,
as a joint or as a whole gammon.
